Preparing For The Next Chapter In My Life

Hellloooo 😁. My name’s Julia and this is my very first blog post! I’ve been dying to make a personal website of some sort and I’m happy that I can dedicate my first one to my Copenhagen Abroad Blog. Studying abroad has been my dream since I was like 10 years old and nearly a decade later, this aspiration will soon be fulfilled!!!

I am currently at home in Los Angeles, CA and will be leaving in two days — it still has not hit me…

Prior to my departure, I have been running a ton of errands to make sure that my trip goes smoothly! First thing first: packing. After long deliberation, I ultimately decided on taking a personal item (backpack), two checked bags, and a duffle bag. I figured I would like to bring back items from my time abroad so another checked bag couldn’t hurt. The empty duffle bag will also help with this and it’ll also serve as my weekend getaway bag as I travel on my free time.

Coming from LA, I’m not used to having many winter clothes. And I learned that it is going to be about 30 degrees Fahrenheit in Copenhagen…(not used to that at all) So, to prepare, I bought some coats and layers, including this Parka below!

Additionally, I’ve been researching different places I’d like to visit and put it in a google spreadsheet. I hope to continue building this list but I think this will really help me fully take advantage of all the things I want to do while I’m in Copenhagen!

That’s pretty much what I’ve been doing to prepare and next thing up is: LAX! Going to the airport and departing. See you next time in Copenhagen (:

  1. Another thing I have really noticed is the fact for many people, bad credit is the response to circumstances above their control. One example is they may happen to be saddled having an illness and because of this they have high bills going to collections. It could be due to a job loss or maybe the inability to do the job. Sometimes divorce process can truly send the finances in the undesired direction. Thanks sharing your ideas on this web site.
